Interests. I love science, art, jiu-jitsu and outdoor sports. I think the soil under our feet is a marvelous world and I like to spread the word about it. When I teach, I often do so in an original way. Check out the irrigation game 'Water matters' for example!
Bio. Since 2014, I have been working as a professor at the University of Liège, at the Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech bio-engineering faculty in Belgium. Recently I spent 6 months at UBC in Vancouver, Canada. I did my PhD at the research center in Jülich, Germany and I also worked in Thailand for a project of the KULeuven. I studied bio-engineering at the KULeuven in Belgium and was born in Halle.
